Founded in 1982, Joel Pinto, Lda began its activity by selling workshop equipment under its Equiauto banner. However, it is in the manufacture and sale of car washing equipment that our company has its deepest roots. Our founder was a key element in the introduction of automatic washing equipment in Portugal, and our history is deeply linked to the Vehicle Care business.
In 2019, the company entered a new era of expansion and innovation, broadening its focus and developing new sectors of activity such as Metal Construction, Industrial Maintenance or even through the manufacture of innovative equipment such as Dogwash. It is with the growth of the various sectors that the company restructures itself, abandoning the centrality of its Equiauto brand, taking on its original name Joel Pinto, and founding its new Equimetallic brand.

More recently, Equimetallic has also strongly committed itself to the manufacturing of self-service pet
washing equipment.
